With the need to give the Adidas Original's Consortium line a fresh start, the brand with the 3 stripes took the opportunity to use the upcoming London Summer Olympics as well as many of the past Olympics in order to do so. A very dynamic group of 9 designers ranging in location from Tokyo to Amsterdam were chosen, along with Adidas Originals, to re-invent classic silhouettes for the Consortium collection.
